Kathy Florence, Beverly resident and Saint Xavier University (SXU) alumna was a kindergarten teacher at St. Bruno School in Archer Heights for over 40 years.

Professor of Geochemistry and Physical Science Christopher I. Chalokwu, Ph.D., FGS, FGSA, is the recipient of the NMGS/MOSUNMOLU/IFATUROTI Medal from the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society.

Melissa Rose is a math teacher at Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School and also the June Teacher of the Month.

The Golden Apple Foundation has recognized SXU alumna, Phyllis Cavallone-Jurek, for her excellence in stewardship. Ms. Cavallone-Jurek was also just named a 2017 National Distinguished Principal by the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP), one of only five private school principals nationwide to receive this coveted award.
