Darcie Murray teaches English with the students at Lake Park High School in west suburban Roselle and also the December Teacher of the Month.

SXU alumnus Robin Prokaski Jr. received one of five mathematics education scholarships awarded by the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
