Saint Xavier University will hosts its annual Breakfast With Your Legislators event on March 11, 2019. Elected officials scheduled to attend are Illinois State Senator Bill Cunningham, Illinois State Senator Michael Hastings, State Representative Kelly Burke, Cook County Commissioner John Daley and Chicago 19th Ward Alderman Matt O'Shea.

SXU alumna Nevien Shaabneh '10 has been inspired by the world of literature since kindergarten, inspiring her to write her first novel "Secrets Under the Olive Tree".

SXU's Matthew Costello, professor of political science and chair of the department of history and political science, was recently quoted stating the Wilson Foundation's survey regarding Americans' understanding of civics is most likely accurate.

SXU will celebrate the many research contributions made by students, faculty and staff from 4 to 6 p.m. on March 5.
