Join SXU for Nurse Appreciation Night
Saint Xavier University (SXU) will celebrate Nurse Appreciation Night at a Chicago White Sox game on Tuesday, September 12. SXU is the proud presenting sponsor of the event, which celebrates the hard work and dedication of nurses.
The game will begin at 6:40 p.m. at Guaranteed Rate Field. All nursing students, professionals, and those who simply appreciate nurses for their contributions to the health care field are invited to attend this celebration. The Saint Xavier University Chamber singers will sing the National Anthem at the game.
"We've grown to look forward to this annual tradition that represents both Saint Xavier's longstanding heritage on the South Side and our hard-working faculty and alumni nursing heroes. It's a great night to celebrate them alongside our future nurses!" said Charlene Bermele, DNP, RN, CNE, associate dean of the College of Nursing, Health Sciences and Business.
To purchase your tickets, visit the event website. All buyers who purchase tickets through the event link will receive a specialty nurse appreciation hat (while supplies last) and are invited to participate in a pre-game parade walk around the field, which begins at 5:45 p.m.
Don't miss this on this great opportunity to engage in fun festivities, score a hat, and honor the amazing heroes who've dedicated their lives to compassionate care.
