SXU Hosts "Cougars in Technology" Networking Event on February 26
Saint Xavier University (SXU) is proud to be hosting a unique networking opportunity for alumni and students on Tuesday, February 26.
Hosted by Career Services and the Computer Science Department, the evening will be an amazing opportunity for students of all majors and a diverse group of SXU computer science alumni to connect and learn about career choices, industry trends and the expectations of new graduates entering the workforce. Bonus stations to enhance LinkedIn profiles, receive free professional headshots and learn further ways to make individuals more appealing to potential employers will also be at the event.
The Career Services team is dedicated to preparing, educating and empowering students and alumni to explore opportunities, develop skills and make the connections necessary for life long career success. Events such as this are just one of many services offered to help students and alumni network with one another and to make informed career decisions. In partnership with SXU's computer science department that designs its programs to prepare students for careers and continued study in the rapidly changing computing field, the evening will connect students with working alumni in a range of technological fields.
The Cougars in Technology event will take place in the Butler Reception Room from 6:30 to 8 p.m. For further questions about the event or registering, please contact Jodi Martin at 773-298-3133 or malloymartinFREESXU.
