SXU's Abdul-Majid Wazwaz conducts professional development
Saint Xavier University's (SXU) Mathematics Department Professor Abdul-Majid Wazwaz recently conducted a variety of professional development these last few months. Below are some of his standout activities:
He wrote a variety of articles, sole-authored or co-authored, that were published in professional journals of high impact factors. The journals published research work on applied mathematics, physics, engineering, nanofluids, applied soft computing and computational methods. The articles investigated thoroughly and deeply on hot topics of integrable equations using recursion operators and its inverse forms. The resulting standard equations and the negative order equations were confirmed to be integrable equations by showing it possess the Painleve test. This was confirmed by using the MACSYMA package. For boundary value problems, a variety of computational methods were employed to obtain useful findings, especially for the Lane-Emden equations of astronomy.
