SXU prepares new programs for adult learners
Saint Xavier University (SXU) is excited to introduce new opportunities for adult students through the addition of four degree completion programs! In addition to the Fast-Track Business, Liberal Studies and RN to BSN degree completion programs, SXU now offers Applied Communication, Applied Graphic Design, Gerontology Studies and Leadership and Public Administration for those who have completed some college credit and are looking to finish their degree.
Applied Communication
In this online program, students will gain a new understanding of what it takes to
be an effective communicator. Through combining critical analysis with research and
oral communication skills, students will leave SXU prepared for a fulfilling career

Applied Graphic Design
This hybrid program allows students the opportunity to work with various multimedia
formats in order to create effective designs. Students learn how to design for many
areas of media including print, web and motion graphics to ensure students are exposed

Gerontology Studies
In this hybrid program, students will learn how the human body ages and changes throughout
life. Additionally, students are exposed to several other disciplines including nursing,
business, psychology and even art and film to learn the value a background in gerontology

Leadership and Public Administration
This online program serves to teach students about all areas of creating, negotiating
and implementing policies. Students focus on their written, oral, research and analysis
skills to learn how to think critically about issues in society and promote ideas
