SXU Health Center Joins the Great American Smokeout

On November 15, the Saint Xavier University (SXU) Health Center will join efforts across the country to help promote healthier living through the Great American Smokeout.

Since 1976, the American Cancer Society has hosted the Great American Smokeout as an event to promote nationwide awareness of the health risks connected to smoking and to encourage people to begin their journey's toward quitting. SXU will join organizations across the country in supporting the ongoing efforts undertaken to make this a healthier society. Visit with representatives from the Health Center in the SXU Diner on November 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for snacks and to learn more about the Great American Smokeout and the effects of the SXU Tobacco-Free Campus Policy.

Saint Xavier University is proud to stand alongside over 1800 other universities who are officially tobacco-free and to continue promoting a healthier future for our students, faculty, staff and community.
