SXU hosts a Math and Art Summer Camp -- June 25 - 29
Saint Xavier University (SXU) will host a Math Summer Camp for local middle school students. Tuition for the camp is $160 per student, which includes a camp T-shirt and lunch. Sign up before Wednesday, May 30 to receive a 10 percent discount. Use code SAVE10 at checkout for the discount. Space is limited, so register as soon as possible.
Mathematics and Art Summer Camp
In Mathematics and Art Summer Camp middle school students entering grades six through
eight will explore the connections between mathematics and art with hands-on activities
as well as computer software. Through investigations with symmetry, modular arithmetic
tables, star polygons, origami, Mobius strips, the art of M.C. Escher, tessellations
and fractals, students will create mathematical designs. This camp will run June 25 through 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
Registration closes on Monday, June 11.
*Required Health Form
A parent/guardian must also fill out and send in our SXU Summer Camp Health Form for
any summer camp or program. This form must be completed and returned to Auxiliary
Services at least one week prior to the start of camp. Please fill out one form per participant. SXU Summer Camp Health
