SXU Professor Anna Gąsienica Byrcyn, Ph.D., Publishes Book Reviews
Anna Gąsienica Byrcyn, Ph.D., an adjunct professor in the Language and Literature Department, has published two book reviews in The Polish Review. "Form and Instability: Eastern Europe, Literature, Postimperial Difference" was written by Anita Startosta and published by Illinois: Northwestern University Press. "Joseph Conrad's Polish Soul: Realms of Memory and Self" was written by G.W. Stephen Brodsky and edited by George Z. Gasyna before issued by Lublin: Maria Curie-Sklodowska Press.
The Polish review is a multi-disciplinary, peer-reviewed scholarly publication devoted to Polish topics and serves as the office journal of The Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences of America. Articles on Polish history, literature, art, sociology and other topics fill the pages of each issue, along with book reviews of significant publications.
