SXU's 'Slut Walk' featured in DNAinfo Chicago
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and in effort to bring about action and get people talking about victim blaming across college campuses, Saint Xavier University (SXU) has been hosting a series of event programming. One event in particular, the "Slut Walk," will consist of several mythbusting stations that will be set up throughout the SXU Diner. Those interested are encouraged to visit today, April 20 at 2 p.m. and visit these displays to learn more about the movement.
This unique "call-to-action" has even gained the attention from one local media outlet, DNAinfo Chicago who published a story about the Walk on Tuesday, April 18.
