Local Oak Lawn CPA firm seeking accounting intern and administrative assistant for 2018 tax season

Are you a Saint Xavier University (SXU) student looking to gain knowledge in the accounting field? McGreal & Company, PC is looking to fill an accounting internship and administrative assistant role for this upcoming tax season. The details for each position are below:

Accounting Internship

CPA firm located in Oak Lawn, Ill. is seeking an accounting intern for the upcoming tax season. The internship will run from January through April 30, 2018. Candidate(s) should be organized and detail oriented. He or she will be assisting in the preparation of individual and business tax returns from start to finish. Candidate(s) will gather and assemble client data, process return for review and facilitate in the final product. Candidate(s) with tax classes taken are preferred, but not required.

The accounting intern should anticipate to work between 15 to 20 hours a week. There will be extended hours on Tuesday and Thursday nights and open on Saturday's. Hours can be flexible based on a candidate(s) class schedule. Compensation for this position will be $13 to 15/hour based upon qualifications.

Administrative Assistant

CPA firm located in Oak Lawn, Ill. is seeking an administrative assistant for the upcoming tax season. Candidate(s) will be responsible for answering phones, setting appointments and client hospitality. Candidate(s) should anticipate to work between 15 - 20 hours a week. There will be extended hours on Tuesday and Thursday nights and open on Saturday's. Compensation for this position will be $13 to 15/hour based upon qualifications.
