SXU's Dept. of Language and Literature hosts First Annual Literary Awards Ceremony and Art Performance

Saint Xavier University's (SXU) Department of Language and Literature cordially invites you to the First Annual Literary Awards Ceremony & Arts Performance on Wednesday, April 26 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Gilhooley's Grande Saloon.

The event will include:

• Prizes awarded to the top three student entries selected by a jury;
• Notification of all manuscripts selected for e-publication;
• Literary performance by Carolina Herrera, Juan Carlos Hernandez, Luis Lopez-Maldonado, and Jorge Hernandez;
• Mini book fair: meet and speak with various Chicago authors;
• Book exchange: bring a book, in any language, and take a free book home;
• Free pizza and cash bar!
