SXU's Jaclyn Murawska presents at national conferences

Jaclyn Murawska, assistant professor of Mathematics at Saint Xavier University, presented a talk entitled The Calculus of Corvettes at the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC) in Denver in November 2016 with Keith Nabb from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Dr. Murawska and Dr. Nabb also presented their paper Examining Mathematical Knowledge for Teaching in Community College Developmental Mathematics in the research session, Research in Mathematics Education in Two-Year Colleges (RMETYC).

In April 2016, Dr. Murawska presented a talk entitled Choosing Tasks for Productive Struggle, not Frustration at the National Council for Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Annual Meeting in San Francisco.
