Hoops for Hope Fundraiser raises nearly $5K for student and featured in Beverly Review

No. 3 ranked Saint Xavier University women's basketball team hosted two Hoops for Hope fundraising events for SXU student and member of the community, Tara Hill. The first event was held Wednesday, February 22, in conjunction with its first round playoff game of the 2017 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Tournament; the second event was held Saturday, February 25. Hill is currently battling Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare bone and soft tissue cancer. The event raised a total of $4,902.15, which will go directly to Hill and her family. Thanks to SXU's women's basketball team, their philanthropic efforts will go a long way to help Hill and her family!

The charitable events were even featured in the Wednesday, March 1 issue of the Beverly Review.
