SXU's Professor Meg Carroll presented to local teachers and parents

Saint Xavier University (SXU) Education Department's Dr. Meg Carroll, professor, presented a workshop on meeting the needs of diverse learners in the classroom to the full-faculty of Saint Daniel the Prophet Elementary School in the Garfield Ridge neighborhood of Chicago. On November 15, she met with parents of students at Saint Therese Elementary School in Chinatown and presented about parents helping their children gain independence. On December 5, Dr. Carroll met with parents of children in school district 124 elementary school and middle school in Evergreen Park to explore executive function and the organization and completion of school tasks.
