Two SXU alumnae acknowledged as finalists by the Golden Apple Foundation

Two of Saint Xavier University's (SXU) School of Education (SOE) Dr. Eileen Quinn Knight's former students were acknowledged as finalists by the Golden Apple Foundation.

On Saturday, March 4, alumna Demitra Georganas was named as one of the 32 finalists for the Golden Apple Award of Excellence in Teaching. That same day, alumna Phyllis Cavallone-Turek was named as one of the 10 finalists for the Golger Award for principals.

After the final analysis on Saturday, March 11, there will be 10 teachers receiving the Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching and one person will receive the Golger Award for principalship.

Award recipients will be told of their winning in the next two weeks!
