Saint Xavier University (SXU) Political Philosophy Professor Robert Shapiro wrote a column in the Thursday, April 21 issue of the Daily Southtown on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s plans for Russian action in Syria. In the article, he discusses the strategies taken by Putin that have not only been wrongfully predicted by the United States, but proven to have been successful tactics.
