On Monday, Oct. 24, the "Stuck on Adhesives" session included testing the comparable strength of various adhesives, learning about how adhesives are made, viewing adhesive tape under microscope magnification, and devising experiments related to adhesives and children's literature about adhesives. On Thursday, Oct. 20, Prof. Carroll joined a panel of two staff members from Mercy Home for Girls talking to teachers who serve these girls and young women about the way that these females have experienced trauma, how that trauma may influence how the students respond in school, and effective means for addressing behavior.
