SXU's Meg Carroll conducted workshops at local area schools

Saint Xavier University's (SXU) School of Education Professor (SOE) Meg Carroll, Ed.D. has conducted the following presentations and workshops at various Chicago-area sites:
- School District 135 on Tuesday, March 8, where she provided an evening workshop on dyslexia for families and school personnel. Participants explored the needs of students with dyslexia and strategies for helping students with dyslexia succeed in school.
- Colin Powell Middle School in School District 159 on Wednesday, March 9, where Prof. Carroll met with each middle school team (6 – 8 grade, and explore teachers and related services personnel) to discuss the implementation of accommodations for students with disabilities and how to meet the challenges this commitment presents.
- Cardinal Joseph Bernardin (CJB) School on Tuesday, March 22, where she provided a workshop on a differentiation toolkit. Meg has been providing coaching on differentiation to the teachers at CJB once per month and this toolkit workshop was complementary to an opening workshop on differentiation that Meg conducted in August of 2015.
