Suggested Two-Year Academic Plan
A total of 120 credit hours are required for a Bachelor of Science degree. The Gerontology Studies major is an interdisciplinary program that includes course work that addresses specific issues related to the older adult in the areas of psychology, sociology, physiology, and health. The program concludes with a capstone project in Gerontology that is tailored to the student's individual interest and career goals.
