Biography

Jeanmarie Cusack ’85 serves as the Executive Director of University Advancement, managing the day-to-day operations of a team focused on securing financial assistance for SXU’s students while advancing the University's mission.

Her work includes improving the institution's current annual financial support through collaborative development, alumni engagement, programs and outreach initiatives while amplifying the planned giving program to ensure Saint Xavier University, rooted in the Mercy tradition, remains accessible to future generations.

Cusack’s career began in brokerage on the Chicago Board of Options Exchange. She pivoted from the trading floor to an office position to coordinate marketing tours introducing initial public offerings to financial institutions.

With 20 years of experience in advancement, Cusack is proficient in management, event planning, fundraising and donor relations. She brings a passion for helping others identify their strengths and achieve their goals.
