Biography

Dustin Duncan (he/him) has served as Director of Grants in SXU's Office of University Advancement since 2019. In this role, he oversees the development, management and overall lifecycle of grant-led initiatives for the University. This includes application development and submittal, budgeting, communication with funding sources, reporting and closeout. Duncan has supported the development of more than $20 million in federal, state and foundation grant funding for SXU.

Duncan previously led communications for former SXU president Laurie Joyner and served as special assistant to the mayor of Louisville, Kentucky. He has also led grant initiatives for the Green River Area Development District, the Kentuckiana Regional Planning and Development Agency, Siena Heights University, and the Louisville Metro Department of Transportation. Duncan serves on the board of the World Affairs Council of Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
