Biography

Ann Piejko joined the Office of University Advancement in 2023, where she plans and coordinates alumni engagement events. Her work includes organizing and assisting with reunions, Homecoming, the annual Golf Classic, and neighborhood outreach events.

Piejko has over 20 years of experience planning nonprofit fundraising events across the country. She has planned events in over 20 states, some ranging from multi-day breast cancer fundraising walks and 5-7 day bike rides covering over 500 miles to a breast cancer run-walk in Washington D.C.’s National Mall with 20,000 participants and logistics for speakers Joe and Jill Biden. These events have raised hundreds of millions of dollars for nonprofit organizations of various sizes, all with the intent of improving the lives of others.

Piejko earned her degree in applied life studies from the University of Illinois. Outside of work, you can find her enjoying time with her family.
