Biography
Daija O'Banion is a licensed professional counselor in Illinois. O'Banion graduated with a bachelor's degree in legal studies from Ball State University and a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Valparaiso University. She is also certified in trauma-informed care. O'Banion has experience working with adolescents and adults within the college population for various presenting concerns such as depression, anxiety, adjustment, family and relationship stressors, disordered eating, and mood dysregulation.

O'Banion utilizes therapeutic interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed therapy approaches.
