Biography
Monica Laddaran earned her bachelor's degree in informatics with a concentration in user experience (UX) and a minor in graphic design from Dominican University.
Throughout her personal and professional experiences during and after college, she has always been passionate about uplifting others and building community. She is a proud first-generation college graduate as well as a TRIO SSS alumna. Laddaran's mission is to help students navigate the complexity of higher education through holistic support and ensuring students maximize the resources and opportunities available to them during their time in college and beyond. Last year in November (2023), Laddaran was recognized by Step Up, a national mentorship nonprofit, as their Young Adult Honoree. This award recognizes young adults like Laddaran who have participated in Step Up programing with a dedication to advancing themselves and their careers.
During her free time, Laddaran enjoys spending time with her loved ones -- family, friends, and her dog (Ozzie). She also enjoys going on adventures, whether traveling to a new place or trying a new restaurant, dancing (MixxedFit, Zumba, Latino dance styles), listening to music, going on shopping sprees, playing video games, and collecting Funko Pops.
