Biography

Francesca Tines is an accessibility resource specialist at the Center for Accessibility Services, where she works closely with students and faculty to provide services, academic assistance, and reasonable accommodations for students with documented disabilities.

With over eight years of experience in supporting youth and young adults with behavioral and mental health disabilities, her career in the disability services field began unexpectedly when she applied for a role at a psychiatric residential treatment facility. This experience set her on a path dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities.

Tines holds a bachelor's degree in health sciences and a master's degree in rehabilitation counseling, both from Northern Illinois University. Additionally, she is an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc., a member organization of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, which reflects her commitment to community and service.
