Biography

Brynn Wheaton is a freshman admission counselor dedicated to guiding prospective students through the admissions process and inspiring them to become active members of the campus community. She earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a minor in psychology from the University of Missouri, graduating summa cum laude and holding leadership roles in several student organizations.
Before joining the admissions team, Wheaton taught second grade in a rural Missouri school for two years, cultivating her passion for mentorship, personal growth, and creating welcoming learning environments. Her background in education and psychology informs her thoughtful, encouraging, and enthusiastic approach to helping students discover their path in higher education.
Outside of work, Wheaton enjoys crafting and creating art, drawing inspiration from the same creativity and curiosity she fosters in the students she serves.
