Saint Xavier University is approved by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) to offer a Secondary Education licensure program in Visual Arts (PK-12).

Requirements (45 credit hours)
Students that choose the Visual Arts Education major will fulfill the Studio Art area of study as prescribed below as well as the PK-12 and Secondary Education requirements offered through our Education Division and must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 in the major.
