About the Program
- Students can choose to get a bachelor's degree in general computer science or choose a track within the Computer Science major. The department offers three alternative majors: Cybersecurity, Gaming, and Web Development.
- All full-time computer science faculty hold a Ph.D. in their respective fields.
- Computer science and computer information systems students can take classes to get CCNA certification.
- Most classes involve hands-on learning in our computer labs.
- Computer science students have an RSO called COUGAR Code.

The Computer Science minor is an alternative to the Computer Science major. It consists of six courses, four of which are electives. The student can choose a variety of computer science correlated courses to fulfill the elective requirements.
