Sometimes college can seem a bit scary if you don't know the right people to talk to and the right places to go, but Saint Xavier is here to help you. Academic resources are offered to help students succeed and get the most out of their college years. These resources help students conduct research, write papers, register, evaluate program requirements and ask questions. Listed here are all the academic resources students may need throughout their college experience, including the name and location.

Saint Xavier has implemented a Campus Alert System that will text message student, faculty and staff cell phones in the event of a campus emergency such as tornado or storm warnings, campus closing or dangerous situations on campus.

The Saint Xavier University Online Bookstore simplifies the textbook process for students and professors while providing a variety of physical and digital textbook formats. Students order textbooks online to be shipped to their homes while digital course material access is emailed. The bookstore also sells branded merchandise, course supplies and other items.

Campus Ministry is here to provide you with the resources and opportunities you'll need for religious and spiritual growth during your time at Saint Xavier University.

The Career Development Center supports students in their search for meaningful career paths through self-assessment and career planning, internship resources, alumni networking opportunities, and job-search-skills training. Programming is focused on helping students prepare for the world of work through personal career counseling and assessment, hands-on workshops, career information panels, and opportunities for students to connect with potential employers and graduate school options.

The Center for Accessibility Resources works closely with students and faculty, providing services and academic assistance to students with documented disabilities.

The Center for International Education helps students coordinate studying abroad, often one of the most memorable experiences of a student's life. It allows students the opportunity to learn about the world and other cultures, speak another language and challenge themselves.

The Center for Instructional Design and Academic Technology (CIDAT) supports the University's online learning system called Canvas and works with faculty to design online courses to provide an informative and engaging experience for students.

The Center for Learning and Student Support provides a variety of resources and services aimed at assisting students on their path to graduation, helping students develop strategies and skills they can use in their classes and their future careers.

The Counseling Center guides students toward personal wellness, balance and growth. Licensed counselors facilitate this through personal counseling and wellness education

The Dean of Students Office is available to students, as well as parents and families, faculty and staff in regards to student-related concerns.

The Office of Financial Aid works to assist students with financial aid and FAFSA inquiries, federal verification, exit counseling and more.

The Health Center is a nurse practitioner-led primary care clinic and therefore provide a variety of services for our patient population.

Information Technology maintains, upgrades and expands infrastructure as an ongoing process to serve technology needs. They offer a variety of technology labs, wireless access, email and telephone services, printing and copier services, and assistance and training.

Lockers may be obtained through the Dean of Students Office (L-103).

All lost and found items will be kept in a secure location until the owner claims them.

Saint Xavier University's Public Safety serves the students, faculty, staff and visitors of the University. Public Safety is committed to the highest quality of protective services in order to maintain and improve our unique educational environment and quality of life.

The Office of Records and Registrations serves students by maintaining the production and dispatch of transcripts, grade reports, class lists, schedules, room assignments, academic record changes and requests for student data in various forms.

Residence Life provide students with multiple opportunities for personal, social and intellectual growth, and the staff strives to create an environment which facilitates healthy living, academic advancement and social interaction.

The Robert and Mary Rita Murphy Stump Library fulfills the course-related information needs of students through its electronic and print collections and research assistance. The library's search interface allows students to find journal articles, books, videos and more from the library and libraries around the world.

The Student Advising Center empowers students to think critically and to explore and identify academic and career interests. Through guidance and mentorship, advising encourages academic excellence and accountability and helps students to realize their full potential.

Student worker positions are available in a wide variety of functions across many departments on campus.

Utilizing the latest digital technology, the Student Media experience places those students who want to go into the media industry after University in an excellent position.

TRIO at Saint Xavier University is one of 900 Student Support Services programs on college campuses across the nation and provides support services for students who are first generation, low-income and/or students with disabilities.
