All-Clear

Saint Xavier University has issued an all-clear for the area.

A gas pipe exploded at about 8:50 a.m. on May 25 at Mercy Circle, behind Saint Xavier University's property. No one was injured. People's Gas and the Chicago Fire Department were on the scene. Access to 101st Street was temporarily closed but is now open.


This is the official Saint Xavier University weather and emergency notification center. In the event of an emergency, this space will be used to provide timely information to the University community. It will be updated regularly as new information becomes available.

This site informs the Saint Xavier University community about what to do in advance of, during and after a major emergency.
