MercyCare
The Sisters of Mercy founded Saint Xavier University in 1846 and continue to sponsor
the institution as it grows into the future. Affiliated with the Campus Ministry,
MercyCare represents the charism of the Sisters of Mercy, providing support and concern for
the well being of all in the Saint Xavier University community.
Sister Mary Loftus, R.S.M., of MercyCare offers warm hospitality, compassionate listening, and a caring spirit to all associated with the University. She also provides information about both the Sisters of Mercy and Mercy Volunteer Corps. Her door is always open!
