COVID-19 Information

What do I do if I test positive for COVID-19?

If you suspect you may have COVID-19 you can take a home test or make an appointment at the Health Center for testing. If your test is positive, you should take steps to prevent spreading the virus. You can return to your normal activities if you are:

  • Fever-free for 24 hours without the use of medication.
  • Symptoms are improving. If you don't feel well, stay home!

When you go back to your normal activities, take extra precautions for the next 5 days. This may include increased hygiene, masking and physical distancing, especially if you will be in a crowded space or around people who are medically vulnerable.

COVID-19 Vaccines

It is recommended that everyone six months and older get a COVID-19 vaccine for the 2024-2025 season. The Health Center has them in stock, as well as most pharmacies and doctor's offices. COVID-19 vaccines are a safer, more reliable way to build protection than getting sick with COVID-19. Immunity from previous vaccines and infections decreases over time. The 2024-2025 vaccines have been updated with the variant (virus strain) that is currently circulating.
