SXU Women’s and Men’s Choral Ensemble at St. Christina Church
Ensemble performs holiday concert Saturday Dec. 1
Chicago (Nov. 28, 2007) – Join the Saint Xavier University Women’s and Men’s Choral Ensemble for a holiday concert at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1 at St. Christina Church on 111th St. and Christiana Ave.
Among the works to be performed will be the choral masterpiece, “Frostiana,” by American composer Randall Thompson and the favorite holiday classic “Ceremony of Carols,” by composer Benjamin Britten.
“The ensemble sounds glorious,” said Ensemble Conductor and Director Carolyn Brady Riley. “I look forward to the community hearing them.”
