Saint Xavier University Jazz Ensemble Nov. 16
Performance scheduled for Beverly Arts Center
Chicago (Nov. 7, 2007) – Join the Saint Xavier University Jazz Ensemble for a fall concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at the Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St., Chicago.
Under the direction of adjunct professor Frederick Miller, the Jazz Ensemble will perform the works of Dave Brubeck, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, George Gershwin, Oliver Nelson and Thelonious Monk.
The concert is open to the public. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and visiting students. Admission is free for all SXU students, faculty and staff with a valid University ID. For more information, please contact the Saint Xavier University music department at (773) 298-3421.
