Shannon Center offers memberships to college students home for summer
Have access to Saint Xavier’s fitness center, racquetball courts and indoor track
Chicago (May 8, 2007) – Students home from college for the summer can stay in shape by joining Saint Xavier University’s Shannon Center at the Chicago campus at 3700 W. 103rd St.
Student memberships cost $85, run from May 7 through Aug. 17 and include access to the cardio and strength equipment in the fitness center, a recreation gym, a 1/8-mile indoor running track, racquetball courts, group exercise classes and locker rooms. Refreshments are available for purchase from Cougar Pause.
Starting May 20, the Shannon Center’s summer hours are 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
