Students still have time to register for SXU’s Certified Financial Planning classes
Classes begin March 26
Chicago (March 15, 2007) – Students have until March 23 to register for Saint Xavier’s five-course certified financial planning program, which starts March 26 at Saint Xavier’s Orland Park campus and the Multi-University Center in Oak Brook.
The demand for sound, professional financial advice is growing, and Saint Xavier provides the only certified financial planning program in Chicago that can be taken as non-credit preparation for the CFP exam or in conjunction with a master’s degree. Saint Xavier University instructors are experienced business professionals with advanced degrees, years of teaching experience and expertise in the course area.
Scott Thole, who now works in Morgan Stanley’s Global Wealth Management Group, attended Saint Xavier’s CFP courses and took the CFP exam. Now just two classes away from completing his MBA at Saint Xavier, Thole said it was natural to continue with the master’s degree.
“The smaller class size is definitely an advantage. It allows you to network and gives it a more personal feel,” Thole said. “I liked that environment, to be more than just a number in a big auditorium.”
CFP certification is granted only by Certified Financial PlannerTM Board of Standards Inc. to those who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP board-registered program, have met its ethics, experience and examination requirements.
Courses are offered on a rotating basis throughout the year at Saint Xavier’s Orland Park campus and in Oak Brook. Courses are accepted for continuing education unit (CEU) credit. Please contact Sister Margaret Mary Hinz for additional information at (708) 802-6207 or email@example.com.
