IHSA Girls Class AA Super-Sectional held at SXU on Feb. 26

Winners of Joliet and South Holland's Thornwood sectionals go head to head

Chicago (Feb. 12, 2007) – Saint Xavier University will host the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Class AA Super-Sectional on Monday, Feb. 26, in the Shannon Center, 3700 W. 103rd St., Chicago. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The winners of the Feb. 22 Joliet Township Sectional and the South Holland Thornwood Sectional will go head to head to win the Class AA Super-Sectional.

“We are very pleased that the IHSA will be holding the Girls Class AA High School Super-Sectional at Saint Xavier University,” said Bob Hallberg, Saint Xavier University athletic director and women’s basketball coach. “It’s great for the city and southwest suburbs to have some of the top girl’s basketball teams coming to the Shannon Center for such an important game.”
