Saint Xavier University to Host Job Fair
Students, community welcome to attend March 28 event
CHICAGO (March 14, 2005) – Saint Xavier University is hosting its annual Job Fair, noon until 3 p.m. Monday, March 28 in the Shannon Center at Saint Xavier University’s Chicago campus, 3700 W. 103rd St.
The event is open to students of all majors, as well as members of the community and students from neighboring community colleges and universities.
More than 65 employers will be in attendance, recruiting for part- and full-time positions, internships and co-op positions. Various fields will be represented, from health care to law enforcement to education.
Employers scheduled to appear include Advocate Healthcare, the City of Madison Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Infinity Broadcasting, St. Coletta’s of Illinois, Thornton Township High School District 205 and Wells Fargo.
Job seekers should bring copies of their resumes and dress professionally.
Saint Xavier students may leave with more than job prospects. Current SXU students can enter a raffle by submitting a copy of their resume as an entry form. Prizes include a DVD player, an iPod, a digital camera and SXU Bookstore gift certificates.
