Saint Xavier to host evening of Arab classical music and poetry
WHAT: Saint Xavier’s Center for International Studies, the Department of Anthropology and Sociology and the Middle Eastern Studies program will present the Al-Sharq Ensemble in an evening of Arab classical music and poetry. This special engagement is part of Arab Heritage Month events at Saint Xavier.
A reception will follow the performance.
WHEN: 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 17
WHERE: McGuire Hall in the Warde Academic Center on SXU’s Chicago Campus, 3700 W. 103rd St.
COST: Admission is free and open to the public.
