SXU to hold 'Fahrenheit 9/11' teach-in on Oct. 27
WHAT: Saint Xavier University will host a showing of Michael Moore’s “Fahrenheit 9/11.” After the film, a panel of faculty and staff will engage the audience in comments and discussion.
On the panel is Dr. Peter Neil Kirstein, professor of history; Dr. Michael Rabe, associate professor of art; Dr. Kathleen Waller, associate professor of religious studies; and Major Paul Matthews, USMC (Ret.)
According to the Internet Movie Database, Michael Moore’s controversial documentary examines topics from the Bush family’s relationships with the Saudi Royal Family; President George W. Bush’s 2000 election; the Bush Administration’s handling of the Sept. 11 attacks and the administration’s War on Terrorism agenda.
