Opportunities to Partner With SXU
There are many ways for businesses and other external partners to get involved at SXU.
Internships and Employment Opportunities
Local employers are invited to provide internships that give students the opportunity to apply their classroom learning to practical experiences in modern professional settings. Partners are also encouraged to hire students and graduates, participate in our career fairs, and post job openings on CougarJobs. For additional information, please contact Jean Riordan, director of Career Services, at 773-298-3135 or email@example.com.
Experiential Learning and Research Opportunities
SXU uses the greater Chicago metropolitan area as an extended classroom for students. Many of our partners provide opportunities for students to gain real-world experience through community-based learning experiences, clinical and practicum rotations, service learning and research projects, and many other types of field-based learning experiences. Please contact Colleen Sehy, executive director of Corporate, Government and Foundation Relations, at 773-298-3319 or firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your interests so that we can connect you to appropriate opportunities.
Share Your Expertise
We encourage professionals to share their expertise with our students through guest speaking opportunities and participation in career preparation activities sponsored by our Career Services Office and many of our academic programs. We also look for qualified individuals who can make a contribution to one of our advisory councils. Please contact Colleen Sehy, executive director of Corporate, Government and Foundation Relations, at 773-298-3319 or email@example.com to discuss your interests so that we can connect you to appropriate opportunities.
Sponsorships, Gifts and Grants
Our partners provide financial support for scholarships, academic and student services programs, community outreach efforts, and many other initiatives. Below are just a few of the many opportunities where your support can make a significant difference.
