Communication Sciences and Speech Disorders Requirements

Students interested in Saint Xavier University’s Communication Sciences and Speech Disorders (CSD) major must meet the minimum academic requirements in order to be considered for the program.

Freshman Students

  • 2.5 GPA or higher (on a 4.0 scale) AND
  • An 18 or higher ACT composite score -OR-
  • A 1270 SAT composite score for tests before March 5, 2016
  • A 940 SAT composite score for tests taken on or after March 5, 2016

Transfer and Post-Baccalaureate Non-Majors

Minimum 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) cumulative college GPA, based off of 30 or more credits.
