Are you looking for someone who could work with you one-on-one at any time of the day or night, wherever you happen to be? Saint Xavier is pleased to provide you with access to online tutoring from Smarthinking.
Tutoring is available in writing, reading, math, science, business, Spanish and English. You will be able to:
- Conduct live online tutoring, 24 hours a day, seven days a week
- Schedule an appointment for a tutoring session at a later time
- Submit a question regarding grammar, style and/or organization in a paper
- Submit an entire paper for revision and receive a detailed, personalized critique within 24 hours of submission
- Upload screenshots, pictures or PDF copies of your textbook, making it easier for you and the tutor to communicate
Smarthinking’s experienced, certified tutors have advanced degrees, most having a
master’s or Ph.D. in their fields of study. Nearly all of the tutors are practicing
or retired professors.
