Lori Winkler
Director

Lori Winkler is a Saint Xavier University alumna who has worked as a parent educator in the Prevention Initiative Birth to Three Program since 2004. Prior to SXU, Winkler was a lead teacher at a community preschool for 13 years and a substitute teacher in public school grades K-6 creating a combined 26 years of experience in early childhood education. She obtained additional coursework and professional development in early childhood development and early childhood special education. Director Winkler is a BabyTALK certified practitioner who holds a Newborn Behavioral Certification from the Brazelton Institute and a Gateways Family Support Specialist Credential.

Michelle Cahill is a Saint Xavier alumna who has worked as a speech therapist for 22 years. Michelle provided speech services to school‐aged children in a south suburban school district for eight years and was part of a collaborative teaching team at a birth to three program for children with special needs. For the past 15 years, Cahill provided speech services for birth to three children in the Illinois Early Intervention Program. Michelle is a BabyTALK certified Practitioner.

Jennifer Gilhooly is a Saint Xavier University alumna who has worked as an Illinois Early Intervention Program therapist for eight years providing speech therapy to children birth to three years old while supporting families with the transition to preschool. Prior to early intervention, Gilhooly worked 13 years as a speech therapist for Chicago Public Schools serving children and collaborating with the classroom teachers from pre-K through grade 8. Jennifer is a BabyTALK certified practitioner.

Prior to coming to SXU, Selene White worked eight years as a general physician with a master's degree in forensic science for the Mexican state and federal government. Selene specialized the last two years of work in pediatric cerebral paralysis while obtaining additional coursework and professional development in early childhood development and early childhood special needs. White is a BabyTALK certified practitioner.
