Dr. Neil Younkin, CFA, is an associate professor in the Graham School of Management. He has been teaching for SXU for over 20 years starting in January 1992. Neil currently teaches marketing with a focus on marketing\business strategy. Neil has also taught finance, economics, and international business for GSM. He taught CFA related university courses for over ten years.
Neil has previously served in administrative positions for GSM such as assistant dean, marketing department chair, marketing and management programs chair and undergraduate program director.
Dr. Younkin earned a Ph.D. in business administration from the University of Illinois (at Chicago) in 1992.
He also has a M.A. in economics from University of Illinois (at Chicago). Neil also holds an MBA and a B.S. from DePaul University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder. The CFA is certification in investment analysis and portfolio management.
Neil had been teaching CFA candidate review seminars for Kaplan Schweser for 13 years. For over six years the Schweser Chicago Weekly Review seminars were offered in partnership with Northwestern University's School of Professional Studies. Other clients have included Citadel Hedge Fund, Western Asset Management and small business clients.
Neil has published extensively, including the Journal of Marketing, International Journal of Integrated Marketing Communications, Academy of Marketing Studies Journal and Journal of Global Business.
