Women and Gender Studies
The Women and Gender Studies program at Saint Xavier University offers a multidisciplinary perspective on the diverse experiences and contributions of women, as well as on issues related to gender.
Courses focus upon cultural identities, social roles, collective history and literary and artistic traditions.
This program, by integrating the study of women and gender into the curriculum, will introduce students to new fields of research and scholarship.
Students may earn a minor in Women and Gender Studies by completing 18 credit-hours (6 courses) of women and gender studies courses. A major in this program is not currently offered.
