The Office of Sustainability and Facilities Management is proud to introduce the GreenBike share program to SXU. Students and employees registered as members are able to check out the green and yellow three-speed bikes 24 hours a day, seven days a week at any of 14 docking locations across the Chicago Campus.
The computer-based program uses state-of-the-art technology to integrate the 33 bike docking station modules which use cell phone technology with the University Cougar “smart” card to immediately hire a bike. The self-service system enhances mobility for students, staff and faculty and is great for the environment as well! The first 15 minutes are free. After that, it is 60 cents for every 15 minutes.
