Students seeking a broad general knowledge of psychology that exposes them to a cross section of courses with a special emphasis on the empirical areas choose the general/empirical concentration.

Clinical/Counseling
Students interested in developing an understanding of normal and atypical behavior in both children and adults follow the clinical/counseling concentration.
In addition to courses introducing research and intervention for providing clinical/counseling services, service learning and fieldwork opportunities are also provided.

Industrial/Organizational
Students interested in applying psychological principles and methods to the workplace, or in pursuing graduate study in industrial/organizational psychology, follow a program that provides training both in psychology and in business.
The industrial/organizational concentration consists of courses intended both to enhance immediate marketability, especially in human resource management areas, and also to provide a solid base for further studies. The required courses give the student an understanding of the human resource management context and problems to which psychological principles and methods are applied, and a practicum provides experience in an organizational setting related to the student's particular interests.
Students in the industrial/organizational concentration must take the following psychology courses:
